| Litigation Support |

Whether you are a lawyer, architect, engineer, developer or builder/contractor; litigation on projects can result from the onset of the project to many years after completion of the project. With our extensive forensic engineering knowledge in civil, structural, roofing, building envelope and other construction disciplines, we have the experience and ability necessary to assist you in review of your claims, or claims made against you.

Litigation and Claims regarding construction defects relate to the investigation, forensic review of the files, codes, plans, specifications, manufacturer requirements and the knowledge of the construction and design industry. PIE can aid you in determination of the standards that applied, the methods of repair, and support when the cases go into the litigation cycle.

PIE can assist you in the review of the issues from the Civil Engineering to Building Envelope. Our experience ranges from review of the geotechnical information in regards to foundation and site performance, asphalt and concrete installation and performance, structural construction and design regarding the foundation, framing, and building envelope issues. The building envelope review consists of visual to performance testing to ASTM standards.

Prior to working in the forensic marketplace, many of our staff were intimately involved in either design, oversight, project-management or quality assurance in the new build and rehabilitation industry. Hence, we have been involved in both the "front end" and the "back end" of construction projects and therefore know where things can go wrong and where focus should be given.
